The Pacifier is a story about a former U.S. Navy Seal ordered by the government to protect the children and home of a deceased scientist whose work involved tracking down large terrorist organizations. Although the major character, played by Vin Diesel, goes through a heck of a lot as a muscley, competent fighter, nothing prepares him for the crazy conditions he’s about to endure when he comes face to face with the scientist’s five kids.

It has been over thirteen years since the release of the first movie, and two years after the star of the show, Vin Diesel, revealed in an interview that a second movie was in the making, The Pacifier 2 release date has been announced in 2019, much to the delight of a lot of fans who had given up hope of a second installment of the movie ever coming to pass.

The Pacifier was well received by critics, which is no wonder – who wouldn’t want to see Vin Diesel in a family comedy? The script was relatively simple, but very enjoyable. The movie had a budget of about $56 million and earned about $200 million on the worldwide box office.

It has been a long time since the first movie, and while the kids may have grown up, Vin Diesel remains unchanged. He hardly seems to age at all (which isn’t very fair…) and a lot of fans are eagerly awaiting a glimpse of him at The Pacifier 2 premier.
